One of my friends put this pop up box card together using the White Christmas stamp set and tips of the pine tree in Lovely as a Tree.
It's beautiful as it is, right? But she handed it to me and said, "It's missing something. Finish it." So with a little help from Santa (of the Holiday Home set), some Vanilla Shimmer Smooch Spritz, silver 1/8" ribbon, and a darling All is Calm Snowflake embellishment, the card became extra festive.

May I just say, I LOVE IT! It sits under my tabletop Christmas tree and just shimmers in the lights. I added a rhinestone to the snowflake embellishment for some extra sparkle. It might get borrowed to be a necklace sometime soon. ;)
Breaking News: A Sneak Peak: Stampin' Up's annual Sale-a-bration begins in January. As a demonstrator, I was able to get my hands on some of the free goodies in the SAB catalog early. As a homemaker/home-schooler/mother of four/stamper determined to get holiday cards in the mail this year, I wasn't able to play with all my new prizes right away. My DSA, however, had some free time, so I handed her the
torch stamp set, A Happy Thing, and said, "It needs inking!" She gave me this card today.
|This is the cheeriest thing I've seen all winter!|
That oh-so-happy-making bird is from a Sale-a-bration set, so sorry, you can't get it yet. But the branch is from the so-classy Ornamental Pine set in the Holiday Catalog, and is only available until January 5, 2015. (Plan ahead, folks, and get it while you can!)
Do you have stamping friends to be happy with? What's your favorite part of stamping together?
I wish you stamping bliss this holiday season!
