Hamburger Box Bonanza

So, have you ever seen a crafting tool and thought, "Hmm, it's ok, I guess, but I don't see a need for it...."?  And then you see example after example proving you wrong. My most recent doubletake was Stampin' Up's Hamburger Box Bigz XL die. How many hamburger boxes could I really need to make?

And then, I saw example after example of that little old box turned into something irresistibly cute. I had to have it!

Boxes by The Masked Stamper

The box can be plain on the base, if you like, and then dressed up with a pretty topper.
The flowers on the Dreamy box are from the Flower Fair Framelits. The gorgeous lotus-inspired bloom is made with the Floral Frames
Collection Framelits.

The box is smaller than I thought it would be, more slider size than big juicy burger. It is a great size for pleasant little gifts and party favors. One will hold about five Hershey's Kisses, maybe three truffles, or four Roca. Just enough for a sweet treat, not too much to invoke guilt.
And great for any occasion!

Pumpkins,Turkeys, and Bats!

I'm especially fond of little Batty. Except for the pupils and the circles that were scalloped to make his wings, all the other features are made with the Hamburger Box die. The eyes and fangs are made from the heart, and the diamonds snipped out of the hearts make his nose.

See the little stapler in the upper right corner? That's the new Handheld Stapler in the Holiday Mini Catalog. It is THE tool for putting these boxes together. (Hot + humid = disappointment when I used glues.)  But I don't like to see the staples all silver and shiny and looking like staples, so Blendabilities to the rescue! A light stroke of color camouflages the office tool and lets the boxes shine on their own merits. That I like!

There are more boxes to come in the future!

Want the die now? Have a long wish list from the Holiday Mini? Remember, Demonstrators get DISCOUNTS. Your own purchases count toward the minimum requirements. Drop me a line if you would like more information. (And Demonstrators also get previews of new products and upcoming specials...but I can't say anymore about that--yet!)

                                 Stamp your bliss!
